Skill Square Academy exists to help people develop English as a practical, lasting skill — one they can use with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.
Who We Are
Skill Square Academy is an English language training institution based in Kolhapur, founded in 2018.
We focus on developing usable English skills — not just knowledge that stays in a textbook. English is part of how people learn, work, communicate and participate in the wider world. At Skill Square, we help learners develop the ability to use English, not simply remember it.
Why We Exist
English can influence education, employment, professional communication, confidence, access to information, everyday conversations and the opportunities available to a person. But English alone is not enough. Skill development makes that tool usable.
That is why we focus on Building English. Building Skills. Building Futures.
What We Believe
We don't believe that moving from one lesson to the next necessarily means learning has taken place. When a learner needs more practice, we go back, clarify the difficulty and work on it before moving forward.
Mastery Before Completion. Completing a unit is not the same as being able to use what was taught. Practice, feedback, demonstration and application matter.

Our Story
Skill Square Academy began its journey in 2018 with a simple idea: language learning should be practical, purposeful and personal. What started as a small classroom has grown into a learning community that supports learners from Kolhapur and beyond.
Over the years, we have stayed focused on our core belief: Because English does not grow in a textbook. It grows when you use it.
The Learner Comes First
Learners come to Skill Square with different goals, levels, backgrounds, strengths, challenges and reasons for learning English.
Because of this, learning should not be treated as a one-size-fits-all process. We listen to each learner's needs, understand where they are starting from, and help them move forward at their own pace.
Purpose + Personal + Transfer — these principles help us shape learning around the individual, not the other way around.

We believe that learners learn best when they are actively involved — not just listening, but participating, practising and applying what they are learning.
